Not only do we specialize in general home repairs, but our staff is well rounded in all areas of construction and home improvement. Before founding Tapia Handyman Services, Rogelio found himself working for several other companies that focused on general construction as well as other areas of home improvement. He gained roofing and sheet metal experience through 5 meticulous years of working for different companies. It was there that Rogelio gained both the knowledge and experience needed in order to branch out and begin working independently. He attended San Jose City College, where he received both his plumbing and electrical certificates with great ease; with this new insight, Rogelio was now ready to begin his own company. In 2002 he began doing jobs independently, working long hours, without anyone's help. It was then that Rogelio decided to begin working with his older brother, Alberto, and made this addition to his team in 2005. Alberto is a very skilled carpenter who also specializes in floors, baseboard, trims, crown molding, etc. Within the next year, Tapia Handyman Services found themselves inundated with work and decided that they required and extra set of hands to help complete the jobs. They requested the help of their younger brother Ruben, who is a certified plumber, but also has lots of experience in house remodeling. Ruben specializes in several areas like tile, door installation, sheet rock, and texturing. The same year the youngest brother, Kuko, was picked up by the team. Despite the language barrier, Kuko became a certified electrician in no time. Not only is he a good electrician, but he is also a skilled painter and has a lot of insight on general home repairs. The most recent addition to Diamond Handyman Services was in 2008. Rogelio and the team hired Johnny, a close friend who adapted quickly to the working environment. With his help, the team get jobs finished faster and better. He is still undergoing training under all areas, but is learning quite rapidly. Before Tapia Handyman Services was founded, it was a family. We know each other so well, and that's what keeps the jobs going and getting finished. We really enjoy what we do and love to see the satisfaction on the clients' face when the job is finished. I believe that our clients love working with us because we dedicate ourselves to surpass their expectations, and we give them full insight on the job as well; explaining things that they may have questions about.
