I hired Sergio and his guys to paint the ceiling on my main floor. I am so disappointed. I read the other reviews, and I should have noticed that although people said they would recommend him, they didn't give him 5 stars. He came by to give me quotes on projects, and he is a very nice man. We went over every project I was considering him for. I decided to begin with painting the ceilings since it was fast and the least expensive, and with the weather, it would be indoors. He came by on Thursday to get a contract signed, and suddenly the price jumped $150. Ok. I requested he wait to deposit my check until the next day, Friday. A payday. He did it the same day, and I got a fee. He said he would take care of the fee. I'm still waiting. On Monday he and one other arrive to begin work. Sergio didn't have paint, so he left his guy to tape off my main floor, which is NOT big. It shouldn't have taken more than an hour. His guy was there for HOURS taping it off. And Sergio was nowhere to be seen. Almost 6 hours later, Sergio has come and gone a few times, never staying longer than 10 minutes. His guy is painting, one coat. He moved my fridge, which was so unnecessary, and broke a serving platter and tray. Sergio claims he didn't see it happen. Since he wasn't there, yet again. His guy finishes, and as I walk through, it's obvious they did only one coat. I request another and point out all of the spots they missed. I was taking care of my baby and they left. I then spent 20 minutes cleaning up the paint splatter all over my floors and walls. The next day I requested he come back and fix it. So Wednesday, he shows up with a different worker, and this time he stayed. He was going to leave because they came without the extender sticks, but I had one, so he used that. They taped in 30 minutes, painted in 30, and were done. Yet, I still have to fix all of the areas they missed. I had to clean up paint splatter again. Even in my sink. Sergio used my doormat to put under his paint can. He didn't ask, and I had to throw it away. Still, no recompense for my bank fee, which he acknowledges is his fault, nor any discounts or compensation for my shattered serve ware. Instead, he went on and on about how good they are. No. That is not what I saw. I paid money for a service which he didn't complete in a reasonable manner. Now I have to fix it, I have damaged property, and since he works on recommendations, here is mine. Hire someone else.

The project was remodeling the basement to what would become a kitchen to complete the "mother-in-law" quarters. It consisted of installing of drywall, mud & tape, texture, painting and the installation of new floor. Sergio and his employees were professional, reliable, dependable, with a positive "get the job" done attitude. They met the time-frame that we needed it completed by, and were willing to do additional work that wasn't listed in the initial contract. They are reasonably priced and provided excellent customer service! My wife and I would highly recommend this company!
