The project involved adding ~300 SF to the side of the house for the master bedroom, a new master bath, and a remodeled guest bathroom on the same hallway. The flow of the original home was preserved while the new fireplace and custom bathroom cabinetry adds style and comfort.

VHB designed an entirely new space by removing a closet and hallway to enlarge the master bathroom, adding a walk-in shower and custom cabinetry to afford a double sink. This Los Altos Hills remodel project is a great example of how we work with homeowners to keep structural elements intact. To update this beautiful home we retained the hardscape structures and swimming pool area while updating and remodeling the home. We added vaulted ceilings, custom cabinetry, updated lighting and installed stunning hardwood floors. This home remodel focused on enhancing the interior and connecting with the outdoor living space. Now the inside spaces flow seamlessly into the patio, swimming area and porches that surround this gorgeous Los Altos Hills house.

This original Eichler home was completely torn down to make room for a larger, more modern home. VHB added ~1100 SF to the foundation to accommodate a larger, open concept family room and kitchen. Additional space on both sides allowed for bigger bedrooms and a large new master suite. The ceilings were raised to 10' which allowed for grand views of the surrounding hillsides.

The hallways are wide and the amenities (fixed and electronic) allow full use by the entire family. Note the use of stylish ramps and bathroom countertops. The kitchen drawers are one-touch-open, and even the doors and HVAC systems are controlled remotely via i-Pad. This is an example of where beauty and functionality meet in perfect harmony.
