Home Interior Remodel

Jan 2014

This is an unfinished approx. 2500 sq. ft single family stucco home off Hwy 599. The owner hired us the bulk of the remodeling and finish work. This project is ongoing. We've patched and repaired the diamond finish interior walls. We moved the garage passage door from adjacent the kitchen to the hallway. Removed the kitchen plumbing fixtures and cabinets and done minor electrical modifications and repairs. There's much left to be done, including tiling the floor, which is currently a bare concrete slab. Refuge Repair can do almost anything, as the skillsets of this project might suggest.

Residential Exterior Repairs and Upgrades

Jan 2014

We began this project by removing and replacing rotted rafters and soffits. During the work, we found dangerous exterior wiring, which we removed. We patched miscellaneous stucco cracks and holes, and caulked the roof line. We patched roof cracks and holes, installed a chimney cap and gutters and downspouts.

Adobe -style Home Exterior Reconstruction

Jan 2013

A beautiful, 85-yr old adobe near St. John's College needed lots of TLC. In particular, the original portal was on the verge of collapse and the porch roof was leaking. We replaced rotted latillas, vigas ad posts, and rebuilt the entire roof. We We applied new roofing-tar and gravel-and repair canales. We then demolished the original portal and rebuilt it as we did the porch roof, with new latillas, vigas, posts and roofing material. We then stuccoed the damaged areas. In addition, the original adobe was crumbling and we applied new adobe and patched holes etc. Beautiful. Good for another 80 years!
