Prism Home and Building Inspections

This company is extremely professional and easy to work with. I was referred to Prism by my co-workers several of whom recently relocated here and used Prism for their homes. I have used Prism for two home inspections now and both inspections were scheduled within two days. I received the reports the night of the inspection. They give a 90 day warranty with the inspection to cover mechanical and structural failures and they checked my appliances and heating and cooling systems for manufacture recalls and as it turns out my dishwasher was recalled on the house we just had inspected. I strongly recommend this company.

These guys do a fantastic work.

AVOID PRISM!!! Rick Simon failed to note a 30 square inch hole, rotted through a second floor window sill on the exterior of the window. The window was not painted shut (as is the case in many old homes), and if he would have opened it --- or even examined the exterior sill looking through the window --- during his inspection the problem would have been discovered and repaired promptly. The rainfall that came with Hurricane Matthew filled the exterior wall of our dining room with water, spilling into the dining room. Our new paint bubbled and drywall seams split. The door frame came apart and part of it fell off. The door frame was so swollen that we could not open the door for two weeks after the Hurricane. So far, our repairs have totaled about $2,000. Mr. Simon has not responded to multiple requests to address his gross negligence. Even if Mr. Simon's error is adjudicated as an honest mistake, his failure to honestly address the error damns him. AVOID PRISM!

completely didn't check our garage door, which was broken and made us responsible for fixing it. Not to mention the owner is completely rude and was very rude to my parents! Please be aware before using this company.
