Cape Cod House | Mar 2014 | After selling a large, family home in suburban Boston, and moving into an apartment in the city, our clients decided to renovate their summer home on Cape Cod. For the interior design on this project, Caroline collaborated with Robin Violandi. The pair created spaces that feature a neutral palette interspersed with pops of color such as the nautical navy and red accents in the living room and a rich, blue hue on the base of the island in the kitchen. | Falmouth, MA
Scituate Home | Aug 2012 | One of our longstanding clients at the Welch Company purchased a seasonal home in the Minot Beach section of Scituate with plans to winterize it. After quickly realizing they'd have to start fresh, the homeowners worked with Caroline in creating an interior design plan for their new home which is both kid- and pet-friendly and blends traditional and modern elements, along with touches of nautical style. | Scituate, MA
Marshfield Home | Nov 2011 | For the interior design in this river-front home, located in Marshfield on Boston's south shore, the colors displayed by Mother Nature were the starting point. In the living room we combined warm, autumnal hues with spring-like shades of green. Pillows and accessories in a seaside blue add pops of color. In the kitchen, we reconfigured the cabinets to maximize the views by moving them from the water-facing wall to the interior walls. The new cabinetry is stained in cherry to complement the red oak floors. A center island offers storage as well as a place to dine and socialize. | Marshfield, MA |
