| Boiler Replacement | Oct 2016 | This homeowner had a service contract with PSE&G for her steam boiler and after 12 years her Weil Mclain 150k BTU cracked due to a faulty low water cut off control and lack of cleaning. She was quoted a price of $12,700 from PSE&G to replace the unit. Now I am not knocking PSE&G because I dont know the details of what they were planning on doing because the proposal they left with the homeowner was vague but, we were able to replace the unit with the same Weil Mclain as well as replace the return line and add an automatic water feeder for nearly half the price. | $8k | Short Hills, NJ |
