Well I’m not sure where to start. I suppose the very beginning would be best.. I’m writing this letter in my sincere belief it may save potential consumers the agony my wife and I are going through. There is a saying “what goes around comes around” . We bought the farm in September of 1992 while living in Illinois. We moved here in August of 1993. We fell in love with the people and the beauty of the entire state. Okay back to the reason for this letter. On February 19th our wash machine drain overflowed. My wife and I are both in our late seventy’s and neither of us are physically capable of kneeling or physically incapable of lifting. Add to that my cancer. Okay back to the reason of writing this letter. Because we have had some bad experience’s with local tradesman. One plumber crushed my metal furnace duct restricting the air flow. Another decided the bracing for the floor was in his way, so he knocked the brace out causing the floor to begin sagging. Anyway I went on line to find a local Plummer. Patriot Pro Plumbing was the first listed. I had not heard of this business so I called. Jeff the owner answered the phone. I explained my problem and he stated the men were on other jobs, however he would come out and check out the overflow. I was impressed that he was willing to personally help us. A short time latter Jeff and his son arrived. After checking the problem he determined that the grey water pipe was so impacted and most likely broken, they would need to come back the next day with a compact back hoe rented from a local equipment business along with 100 ft. of 2” Pvc pipe. He dug the trench and laid stone on the bottom, then laid the pipe. I had explained that our septic lines ran near the trench . While smoothing the trench I discovered two pieces of septic pipe he had torn from the septic lines. Okay get ready for this next surprise. He presented us with a bill in the amount of $3,700. When I complained he gave a $250.00 credit which brought the total to $3,450.00. We wrote a check for $500.00 and charged my credit card $2,950. In closing I hope this letter is investigated and a refund to us for over charged amount. Please help us with this so he can’t do it to others. Sincerely, David Selk

Buyer be ware! The week of February 19th we discovered our wash machine drain caused the water to back up. Having had previously bad luck with local plumbers, I went on the internet and Patriot Pro Plumbing poped up. I had no previous knowledge of the company. But since the wash machine is a essential appliance and my wife and I are in our late seventy’s. I called, Jeff the owner answered the phone and when I explained the problem, he stated all of his men were on other jobs but he would come out and fix our problem. I guess being old and incapable of fixing the problem myself I said yes. He discovered the drain pipe was broken and needed to be replaced. The repair cost would be $3,500.00. Having a old person moment, we agreed. I have cancer and mounting bills which I had explained to Jeff. They got the job done, however the cost was beyond reasonable. I left a review on his web site, but I do not believe it will be posted because I have never read reviews for any company that did not contain at least one bad review. His reviews are 100% sugar coated. I’m interested in starting a class law suit. If this over charge was to me, I’m betting others have had the same problem. D Selk d.selk@nctc.com
