We provide architectural services including site planning, program development, building design, construction administration, and interior design. Interior Remodel -- Shoreline, Washington | Sep 2008 | The main goal of this project was to open existing spaces, creating a visual and physical extension through the living room, dining room, exterior deck and beyond. The existing small kitchen was expanded to incorporate an island with new electric and gas cooktops. Custom cherry cabinets, paperstore countertops, and glass backsplash tile were used in the design. A minimally finished space was transformed into a second family living space with a small kitchen bar, upgraded bathroom, and new fireplace mantel. Addition - Green Lake Bungalow | Nov 2015 | A residential addition in the Greenlake neighborhood that included a new bathroom, a utility/laundry room, and a new clerestory window and roof that raised the height of the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room. Among the interior updates, dean alan architects specified new finishes and fixtures, new cabinetry, built-in storage, a frameless glass shower with handheld and rain shower heads, heated flooring, lighting, and window coverings. Remodel - Cristalla Condo Residence | Nov 2014 | dean alan architects assisted a client who was looking to create a more open floor plan for social gathering in his downtown Seattle condo amid other improvements. Sliding panels replaced the wall separating the underutilized guest bedroom from the living room and a Murphy bed allows the bedroom to still function when needed.
