LAURA KRAFT - ARCHITECT is a small Seattle-based firm which, for the past nineteen years, has specialized in the design of residential remodels, additions and their surroundings. I believe a home can be designed to be a near-perfect reflection of the values, needs and desires of those who live in it. My approach to the architectural design process starts with listening, understanding and articulating my client's needs, use patterns and aspirations. I welcome the challenge of discovering the potential of existing spaces. Sustainability and efficiency are at the core of my designs. Bring us your house design problems. We can provide solutions.

Home for the Duration | Oct 2013 | A great location and mountain/lake view are taken advantage of in this substantial remodel, designed for clients who plan to stay here for the rest of their lives. The original house was taken down to the floor boards, and the foundation was reused, and expanded, for the new work. | Seattle, WA |
