Brian creates a rapport with his clients to help them define their vision and make the construction process predictable and enjoyable. As much communication and discussion as possible helps this experience. Come Home focuses on residential remodels and renovation. This type of work often poses challenges when integrating new with old construction. Building practices have evolved and care, critical thinking and experience is required to integrate your new design with your existing home. Designing the space is often the first step in getting started. Hiring an architect can be a great first step but has pros and cons. Additional layers of communication are required and the additional party introduces a high probability of error (even the best of them are still human). As an alternative, Come Home supports their clients with design expertise to fill the gap between clients not quite knowing what they want and a detailed project plan. The advantage is that the design is defined by the people doing the construction. This design/build process is key in helping us stay on time and budget. Subcontractors and support staff are key elements in an on time, on budget and enjoyable project experience. As with most things "good ones" are hard to find. Most are average and many can cause serious problems for everyone. All Come Home subcontractors and staff are hand picked by Brian to meet his standards for quality, punctuality, value and client centered approach to their craft. Many have worked with Brian for years and these relationships, as with all relationships, allow great things to happen... We welcome a chance to chat. We love what we do. We would love to do it for you...

![]() ![]() | 1924 Chi Psi Lodge | Feb 2015 | After a plumbing leak damaged all four levels of the Chi Psi lodge at the University of Washington we were asked to restore and rebuild the building. Bathroom renovation was only part of the work. The brothers at the lodge gave Come Home the following note after the project was complete: Brian, It was the best of times it was the worst of times, until you came along and transformed the lodge. We as a brotherhood are very reflective on the state of the lodge and to be honest we were in a dubious state. When one thing starts unfolding, we aren’t quite as disciplined, aren’t quite as scholarly, and not the gentlemen we strive to be. You have restored order my friend. I apologize for any difficult people you have had to deal with or for any time you have felt like you work went unnoticed. WE APPRICIATE YOU more than you know. Thank you for everything you’ve done. We’ll miss your hard working drive and personality. The Chi Psi Brotherhood | $125k | Seattle, WA |
