A custom pendant fixture on a working pulley was hung as a fun reminder of the house's heritage and the reclaimed crystal knobs add sparkle to the cabinetry.   | West Seattle Basement | Jan 2013 | This 1911 Craftsman home had an unfinished walk out basement, which had become a storage area. The clients desired additional space for the kids and overnight guests. The main strategy was to ensure the basement design matched the rest of the house in its craftsman style, while adding beautiful spaces where the family would love going. This completely unfinished basement is now an extension of this home. With a TV room, wet bar, playroom, guest bedroom and universal design bathroom it was designed to grow with the family.
