Top priority for this casual family home was ease of use. Discrete speakers were added to 8 rooms with Sonos controls. Two large screen TVs were wall mounted with hidden cabling. A security system with classic key pad and phone (remote) controls was installed.

Green was the theme for this project. How do you ensure appliances and WiFi units aren't left on in a large rambler? Easy and convenient wall switches. That's right. In addition to full color custom hand held and in-wall remote controls you can re-use a regular light switch to turn on/off a TV, WiFi, even distributed audio with the right integration. Equipment was kept cool without additional fans by locating it up out of the way in the garage.

You live in a remote area with infrequent visitors. You want to get ready when someone is coming. When a car approaches the drive way: pause whatever is on the TV, switch the TV source to the security cameras, turn the lights up. Did we mention this happens for any one of three different TV areas? We also installed 8 rooms of high fidelity distributed audio with a media server featuring LED in-wall controls. Both music and security camera systems are synchronized with phone apps and pc/mac apps. The main media room was fully decked out with lighting scenes automatically triggered from the custom programmed hand held remote control.

Your family has a hard time holding onto keys and you don't trust the potted plant. The main door is secured with an electronic lock and keypad. Family members enter their code to unlock the door. The security system disarms. You can remotely unlock the door for trusted guests with your phone or computer.

You live with a busy family. You want the house to be comfortable when occupied yet efficient when not. When someone leaves the house they turn on the alarm. The house shuts off all the lights and turns the heat down. When the alarm is turned off the heat is turned up and certain lights go on if it's dark out. Every nighttime and early morning something similar happens.
