Blissful Cleaning Services

I would give a 0 if it were possible. I hired a "Pro" using Porch.com to perform a standard house cleaning service on 10/30/16, Sunday evening that has turned into a nightmare for my wife and I. The contractor, Blissful Cleaning service sent 2 people to do the job and were both welcome. When asked; the lady decided to do it by her own while her partner waited in the car outside. She did a decent job. I left the home to pick up my wife at the airport while I let the lady finish cleaning up and leave after she's done. In the mean time, her partner called and demanded to speak to the lady. I told him, I was out and the lady would be out soon after finishing up. He did not agree, he started abusing in very vulgar language and called me a liar. He threatened because he is unable to reach the lady and started accusing me of bringing harm to her. I had to return midway and escorted her out immediately leaving my wife stranded. I was always reachable on the phone and apparently he was concerned as she was not answering her phone when he called. Whatever the reason, a communication gap between the cleaning lady and her partner broke down and he decided to abuse & hurl threats at me for everything! I was shocked and scared. I got the invoice the next day and I paid it immediately although I was not at all satisfied with the whole experience. They apologized as they were concerned for safety of their cleaning staff and we assumed the issue was closed. The same night, day after the service, this same guy text messaged late night accusing me of not paying and called me a devil. I was shocked! First up, I paid it in full more than 8 hours before and even if they wanted to check with me, this was truly unprofessional and unacceptable and decided to post this feedback! I let the business know and they have not responded yet. Porch needs to perform a complete background check of the people they recommend on their website while I was scared for my life with all the abuses and threats I have heard from their contractor! Although we had nothing to do with anything that happened, we were at the receiving end of all the stress! I want to warn all consumers to be careful with who they are hiring via porch and Porch to perform a complete background check before they let anyone do business via their website. This incident has us concerned for our life for a moment when the contractor was threatening and abusing over the phone. This is not acceptable. Communication methods/frequency & type of communication and safety of the people working is the responsibility of the contractor and/or Porch and they need to be clearly defined to their staff and people who enter our homes to perform their jobs and the consumer cannot be abused, threatened or accused of wrongdoing without any evidence. This is unfortunate. BBB has been notified. If we continue to be harassed or concerned for safety, we will pursue legal action.
