Please ignore the review I wrote below - I believed this was for the DazzLING cleaning company, which is a terrible, horrible service. The DAZZLE Cleaning company seems super legit and gets good reviews. I just spoke to them on the phone because I accidentally posted a bad review for Dazzling Cleaning on this site and they were as nice and professional as could be. In summary: DAZZLE cleaning = good. DAZZLING cleaning = hot piece of garbage.

Avoid at all costs. I hate to give a very negative review to a business, but I feel people need to know NOT to sign up for this service. Our experience with them was absolutely horrible from start to finish. First you need to know that you're signing up for a subscription service that doesn't stop, even when the service they have given you is terrible. This company exists only to rip you off. We gave Dazzling Cleaning several tries. The first person they sent cancelled, which is fine. Life happens. However the person the service sent to take her place told us, within 15 minutes of being in our house, that they had been suspended by Dazzling Cleaning for doing a bad job at other houses. It wasn't just a casual mention - she went into detail about it. This made me extremely nervous. Coupled with the fact that everything about her smelled like cigarettes and she refused to wear a mask for "health reasons", already started us off on shaky footing. She stayed for 3 hours and during that time I never saw her clean a thing. That is not hyperbole. Several times when I checked in on her she was playing with our cat. I had told her which rooms we needed clean and which she could ignore. She spent all her time supposedly sweeping the TV room. That is it. No mopping, no dusting. Just sweeping. Where did she sweep the dirt/dust? Into the threshold of the room we told her she could ignore. She continued to putter around doing nothing for a while and then offered to stay for longer because, "she didn't get far". No kidding. Faced with having her stay longer to continue doing nothing, I finally had to ask her to leave. I let Dazzling cleaning know of our bad experience and told them I wasn't asking for my money back but they needed to do a better job vetting their cleaners and why in the world would they send me a cleaner they had suspended? Their answer was to apologize and give me $20 off my next cleaning. Since it is a subscription service and we didn't have a choice, I agreed. The next cleaner they sent was very nice but, again, she did nothing. She moved at an absolutely glacial pace. We have a big house and because of this, I had isolated 3 rooms I wanted her to clean. In the 3 hours she was there she swept the floor and cleaned the bathroom countertops and that is it. It was so disappointing. It's like DC just hires these people off the street with no idea of whether they know what they're doing or not. They simply send someone to fulfill their contractual obligation. Both times I felt sympathy for the cleaners because they seemed like they really needed the money but I would have rather just handed them money and have them leave than have them go through the farce of pretending to clean our house. I contacted Dazzling Cleaning again after the second service, told them how, as both cleaners had been extremely disappointing and I had received no benefit from either, that I would like to be let out of the bogus "subscription" I had no idea I was signing up for in the first place. They declined but offered to give me another $20 off my next service. A very frustrating exchange. They charged me $170 to untangle myself from them forever and at this point, money well spent to be rid of them. Do not, under any circumstances, use this service. It is not a cleaning service - it exists only to rip people off.

Dazzled again! I want to thank the Dazzle team for a very special job. They might very well be life savers. I asked for their help so I could support a friend recovering from some pretty drastic cancer treatment. Before returning home, his house needed to be thoroughly cleaned to protect his immune system. I knew who to call as Dazzle takes care of my home too. Elvira and Kathy scrubbed that place from top to bottom, moved all the furniture, and chased down every dust bunny. The place is amazing, and I love the way they took this job to heart. And a special shout-out to Jenn for arrangements too because I called sort of last minute, and she made the project work.
