Cozy, Rustic Backyard Gathering Place | Apr 2017 | This wood-burning fireplace forms the focal point for a new patio space. Infratech heaters enhance the heat and make this a comfortable place to spend time well into the Fall. Lighting also plays an important roll in creating ambiance. The rustic style of this space speaks to our client's roots having grown up in Montana. | $75k | Bellevue, WA
Lake Washington Residence | Jan 2016 | This complete makeover aimed to create more usable space for the small front and backyards at this lakeside cottage. Each new space was designed to be multi-functional. Taking cues from existing materials that were working, a new, programmable backyard was created and the front yard was opened up to create the illusion of more space. | $80k | Seattle, WA
Sunset Hill Exterior Yard and Entryway Landscape | Jun 2015 | Backyard, Deck, Front and Back yard, Driveway landscape design and construction on a beautiful Ballard home near the waterfront. | $78k | Seattle, WA
Greenwood Front & Back Deck and Garden Landscape Design | Apr 2015 | Landscape and design construction on deck, staircase into the garden pathway and yard. Front & back deck on mid-century modern home. | $106k | Seattle, WA
Issaquah Highlands Residence | Mar 2013 | This landscape was designed to create a lodge-style feel for this new construction home that blends with its surroundings (and complies with strict HOA requirements). The dry creek bed and large boulders create an organizational feature for the plantings in the front yard, doubling as drainage for the area. The gas fire pit and patio were sited to make maximum use of the views. Three large boulders function as impromptu seating in this area. Plantings were selected for their low maintenance and deer resistant qualities. | $75k | Issaquah, WA
West Seattle Residence | Sep 2012 | This backyard had great bones, but was a little out of date. The deck was old and worn. Too much space was dedicated to an unused hot tub. The new design makes use of all of the strengths of the existing layout, but creates an outdoor kitchen and a separate seating area with a gas fireplace. The resulting spaces look updated and fresh. Please note that the decking itself was replaced by the Owner and is not a part of the stated cost of the project. | $32k | Seattle, WA |
