Bill and Basil are true artisans. Their work was excellent especially with attention to detail. Basically we started with very little idea what was possible other than our porch steps were disintigrating. Several ongoing discussions as work progressed. The results were beautiful. I will post a photo soonest.

Bill and his assistant, Basil, did a beautiful job on our brick walkway and he was very responsive. There was some miscommunication about the width of the landing at the bottom of our stairway and the landing was not as wide as requested. The contractor did have stakes in the ground and allegedly explained exactly where the stairway would be and gave them the measurements. I was not there at the time to clarify or verify the communication though I was clear that the walkway was to start out as a landing. I believe it was completed based on the wrong (inside) side of the stake. Bill was immediately responsive when I pointed out the problem, but he seemed pretty laid back and did not seem as concerned as me. To his credit and professionalism, he did make it back to adjust the bricks and make it work at no charge to us. I would have preferred that it be more perfectly lined up with the stairway but both the contractor and my husband approved the job without checking the measurements so, I accepted the solution offered by Cyclops.
