30 years of welding and fabrication experience, I started Steel Bamboo Metal Fabrication in 2003. Full service custom metal work from conception and design development to project installation. Architectural elements, fixtures, and artwork for the home, office, yard and garden. I specialize in; gates and railings, sculptures and wall mounted art, retail displays and fixtures, signage, art and artifact mounting, tables and benches, and repair and restoration. No Job too small. Your project can be based on your design, use my design, or we can collaborate. Contemporary, Art Deco, and Asian are some of my favorite motifs, but I often incorporate architectural elements from your home or office in the design. Design references and materials samples are provided to aid my clients in project development. Experienced in fabricating all types of metal; mild steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper, zinc, brass, and aluminum, both in sheet, punched sheet, and structural form. Fused glass may also be incorporated in your project, I have a glass studio with a kiln capacity of 22" x 40" Mechanical finishes such as grinding or sanding can be applied for a distinctive eye catching look. I am experienced in using traditional and commercial patinas for a unique or subtle look. I also use paint and powder coating in projects. We will base finish selection on the desired look, location, application and use of your project. I deliver and install all my work in the Puget Sound area; greater Seattle area, East to Issaquah, South to Olympia, North to Marysville, the San Juan Islands, and Eastern Kitsap Peninsula.
