WOW 1 DAY PAINTING

"Wow" these people are a hot mess!!! From the owner Tim Millner all the way down to the employees. The first red flag actually happened the day Tim came to give me an estimate. He called a few minutes past the time of the appointment and wanted to know if I was home. I was of course. Then he says, "Damn I'm at the wrong house". Really? You're going to curse at a prospective customer? He hadn't even met me and was swearing. I let it go because I actually appreciated the fact that he was the one who came to my house to see the spaces and I thought maybe he was just frustrated and the word slipped out. He was the cheapest estimate so I gave him the job. That should have been my second red flag. The cheap estimates are because the people are incompetent as was the case here. A few days after the painters left my house, I got a survey. I gave Tim, his employees and his business a 2 out of 10. I expected a phone call apologizing for the work that had not been finished and for him to schedule a time to come back and finish and fix what needed to be fixed. He NEVER called to improve my review of him so now I want everyone to know everything about how horrible an experience this was. They showed up the first day with 8 PEOPLE. It looked like clowns getting out of a car at the circus. They just kept coming and coming and when I thought they were all there, more showed up later. It was HORRIBLE!!! There NEVER, NEVER, NEVER should have been that many people in my house at one time. There was NO WAY for me to keep track of all of them. They were upstairs, they were downstairs, they were all over. That's why paint was everywhere paint wasn't supposed to be, things got broken, my privacy was violated (they opened drawers that had nothing to do with where they were doing work), things were stolen (2 rolls of toilet paper - why?) and work wasn't properly done. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I asked Tim why the drawers were opened and why the first roll of toilet was stolen. He just said "I don't know". I asked him why the second roll of toilet paper was stolen and again he just said "I don't know". Are these clowns really so hard up for toilet paper that they'd steal from the homeowner where they were supposed to be doing a job??? I fired the handyman who also stole from me and got paint everywhere paint wasn't supposed to be. I expected better from the so-called "professionals" who also charged more. But I have paint on my kitchen cabinets; tile floors in the kitchen; tile floors and tile walls in the bathrooms, the toilets, the bathroom sink, the tubs, on the carpet in my bedroom since they obviously didn't cover the carpet properly. They even got paint on the outlets, the switches and some light bulbs. They are very messy painters who have no respect for people, their homes or their property. At one point they blew the upstairs breaker and the clown who I suspect stole the first roll of toilet paper and opened my drawers, went looking for the breaker box. He started opening doors on the main level and asked if the box was in the garage. I told him it was in the basement so he went looking for my basement. I told him it was MY HOUSE and I would go flip the breaker back on. I didn't want any of them in my basement because there was no work for them down there and because it's MY HOUSE. Didn't matter what I wanted though because clown still followed me all the was down the basement into the laundry room where the breaker box is. Did he really think I didn't know how to turn the breaker back on or know which one had blown???? Besides the fact that I DID NOT WANT HIM IN MY BASEMENT OR LAUNDRY ROOM! When they all first got there, Tim said he'd take them around and show them where the work needed done. Really??? MY HOUSE, I'LL SHOW THEM WHERE THE WORK NEEDS DONE!!! NO RESPECT!!!! As Tim started to take them upstairs in MY HOME, I got in front of him and said, "It's my house, I'll show them." NO RESPECT FOR MY HOME!!! They asked if they could store a few things in my garage because the stuff was in the front yard and it was starting to rain and one of the guys had the van. I said that was fine and even helped them carry a few things to the garage but then they totally took advantage and started putting EVERYTHING in my garage WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. They even started moving MY stuff in MY garage to make room for all their junk!. At one point I jokingly asked if my car was in the way of all their stuff, not because I was going to move MY car out of MY garage but because I was worried they were going to damage my car carrying all their junk in and out. For 2 days they kept leaving the front door open. I kept closing it and they kept leaving it open. They let all the air conditioning out and all the bugs in. I still have gnats in my house I NEVER had before. Couldn't even cook or eat because the disgusting gnats had taken over! There was absolutely no reason to keep leaving the door open expect that they're just lazy and disrespectful. I shouldn't have to tell adults to SHUT THE FRONT DOOR but these "adults" are just STUPID. In 30 years of people using the upstairs toilet NOBODY ever broke the toilet seat. In less than one day in my house, these clowns did manage to break it. And stupid Tim thought it was acceptable to replace beige toilet screw covers with white ones. It was NOT acceptable and it looks ridiculous! Now I have to spend more of MY money to fix something THEY broke and did NOT fix properly. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! They painted both bathrooms upstairs but in one they painted the vent and in the other they didn't paint it. No consistency! They both need painted! The painting in the master bath is HORRIBLE. It was the last room they painted and it shows. They were in such a hurry to get to the next paying job that afternoon, they didn't even finish my paying job. The paint is full of bubbles. They didn't paint all the trim on the door (you can see where the white ends and the beige is still underneath). They painted the back of the door and then opened it all the way so the door stop left a mark in the wet paint. They left the painters tape around the exhaust fan.They got paint on the medicine cabinet. They didn't paint all the way behind the toilet so there is a very large noticeable beige square that still has old wallpaper on it and is NOT painted. Looks Horrible!!! And obviously they don't clean up after themselves. They kept mixing stuff in my kitchen and left something sticky on the floor near the table. They left something yellow in the grout lines of the kitchen floor in front of the sink and left something black on the floor in the foyer that they kept stepping on and over until I had to tell them to CLEAN IT UP. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Tim leaned on a door that had just been painted and got paint on the back of his shirt. He "jokingly" (I guess) said someone was going to get fired and then took off his shirt right in front of me to see the paint on the back. I immediately looked away but I was shocked that he would do something so completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Speaking of inappropriate and unprofessional, one day I found Tim sitting in my BEAUTIFUL SUEDE CHAIR in my room. I DON'T EVEN SIT IN THAT CHAIR!! I SURE AS HELL DIDN'T WANT SOME CLOWN REEKING OF CIGARETTE SMOKE SITTING IN IT!!!! I asked him if he was getting paint on my beautiful chair but what I meant was "What the f*** are you doing in my chair a**h***? Get your smelly fat ass the f*** out of my chair right now!!!" A woman's home and bedroom is supposed to be her sanctuary. He totally violated my sanctuary when he sat his lazy fat ass in my chair without even asking permission. I'm still spraying it with febreeze but he may have ruined my beautiful suede chair forever. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! They did a TERRIBLE job of covering my furniture. It was covered in drywall dust and one of them set their sweaty drinks on my wood table which left multiple rings. They got some sort of wet something on the arm of my white couch. I asked Tim what it was and he said he didn't know. Turns out he doesn't much of anything. If my furniture had been properly covered, they wouldn't have damaged the couch, the table, and left drywall dust all over everything! Tim wanted me to use Sherwin Williams paint but I liked the Behr colors better so those were the paint chips I gave him. He couldn't have cared less what the HOMEOWNER wanted. He showed up with Sherwin Williams paint anyway. I was paying for it! I should have gotten the Behr paint I requested!!! Completely unacceptable!!! More proof they have NO respect for homeowners or their property. When they finally left, they also left trash in my garage. Really??? This is how you thank the homeowner who let you store your junk in their garage??? So rude!!!! The way they "clean up" after themselves is non-existent. I was supposed to get a walk-through at the end but of course that never happened. They left trash in the upstairs bathroom and everything was so dirty and dusty I couldn't even brush my teeth in the sink without cleaning it first. My house was not perfect to begin with but I certainly didn't expect them to leave it worse than it was before they got there but somehow they DID manage to leave it worse. It took me several days to find the rug they moved out of the foyer because they put it in the hall closet WITHOUT ASKING PERMISSION. The closet door was closed! It's private!! It's MY HOME! If they wanted to put something in MY closet they should have asked first. NO RESPECT!!! Needless to say, I absolutely 100% regret letting these clowns into my home. I will NEVER refer them to any of my friends or family or even to anyone I hate. Nobody deserves to have their home torn up and disrespected by people who are being paid to do a "professional" job.
