Porch Is A Scam

Be very careful with this person. I am about to take him to court. I contacted him about inspecting a header and floor. When he showed up, he said he couldn’t inspect and do work within 12 months or something. I told him to just bid the replacement header not inspect. Long story short, he sent a bid. He came in high, so I went with another contractor to replace the header. Well, after I told him he didn’t get the job because then I’d cane in high, he sends me an invoice for an inspection of $175. Mind you he has never provided any inspection document. I have never asked for any inspection info. When I pointed out there was no inspection done or documentation, he then hours later send an “inspection document.” Generic language, no measurements, no pictures, grossly insufficient for an actual inspection report. The guy is pissed he didn’t get the job and now retroactively saying inspection. I will gladly hire an attorney for the principal. I want him to file, so I can counter file. Be cautious with this one! Seems to get pissed if you don’t use him.

Bob did an excellent job on a rather complicated set of interior railings that covered two flights of stairs in my home. His craftsmanship is top-notch and that is hard to find these days. I am very happy with the overall experience of this project and plan to hire Bob for additional work in the near future. Great work, Bob. Thank you !!!

Bob did a great job installing our patio door. He came when he said he would and followed up. I am very pleased and would contact him again in the future. Very professional.
