We spent years mulling the idea of a remodel. I figured the experience would be at worst a nightmare and at best tragicomic. How delighted I am that our remodel with Richard went smoothly! He figured out a way to stretch the budget to get the most out of a complete kitchen and bath remodel and reinvent a dank storage area into a new bedroom. He was transparent about costs and stuck to the schedule. He even gained a reputation on our block as a contractor who actually shows up and finishes projects. Furthermore, the crews he hired were respectful, which goes a long way when you're living through the remodel. I couldn't be happier with our "new house."

Richard was originally brought in to install a beam for us but ended up doing the majority of our kitchen remodel. He was dependable and trustworthy and has done an excellent job. Richard not only installed a beam, he completed demo, drywall, mudding, texturing, built some columns, installed 3 doors, installed the cabinets and did some other miscellaneous carpentry jobs. He showed up when he said he would and he did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day.

My project was rebuilding a deck that was rotting badly. It was high off the ground and had to be rebuilt in place. R.A Potter Construction did an outstanding job. Mr. Potter is skilled, reliable, thorough and very conscientious. There was no cutting corners or scrimping on work. He started the project on schedule worked on it daily and completed the work on time. I would recommend him without reservation and plan to use him for an upcoming project.
