My wife and I hired Pierson Contracting to replace our deck and to remodel a bathroom. The original deck was huge and was beginning to deteriorate. We decided to use composites instead of wood to increase the lifespan of the deck and to reduce the maintenance. Choosing the more expensive materials increased the cost of the project, meaning that re-building the same design would cost more than we were willing to spend. Scott and Pam worked with us through a few designs and several tweaks before we finally arrived at a good solution. The design process went very well- they were quick to respond to our ideas with a good blend of forthright advice and willingness to accommodate. The demolition was done carefully and with great consideration for safety and for our convenience. The construction was done with care and consideration. The crew is skilled and courteous. We’re very happy with the final result- a quality deck that will last a long time with little maintenance. The new bathroom is especially nice. We decided to completely gut the existing space and replace everything: the toilet, tub, vanity and flooring. Additionally, we had some custom tile work in mind for the walls.
