Avoid at all costs! Alan is a liar, a thief, and does illegal work (operates with no gas licenses or any kind of permits). On top of that, the quality of the actual work is laughable - I literally had other contractors, who I had to hire to fix his job, laugh at what they saw. We had a very similar situation to one of the other reviewers. Alan gave us a quote and gave us a timeline. Mid-way through the job, he said his initial plan wasn't feasible so we needed a new (and more expensive) plan to have heat in our house. He also kept asking for more upfront payments and kept delaying the process, lying to us every single time we spoke about his progress and timeline. He kept taking 'no-heat' calls from other people and used that as an excuse why he can't be working on our house. Which is very funny because we had no heat, and had to move out of our house because of that! Also, note that Alan has bee sued in the past and he keeps changing the legal name and address of his company.

Fantastic service and at a great price. Not often that calls are returned in efficient and courteous manner but Alan did and was superb to deal with. I have used him to replace my A/C and he has repaired my heat saving me a lot of money. I have recommended him to many people and the feedback has been the same.

ProAir replaced our A/C Condenser this Fall. The process of initial evaluation of our system, review of replacement options, and final proposal went quite smoothly. Alan was very willing to provide objective advice and also recommended some further system improvements. The install work was performed as scheduled and results were great. A follow-up visit was need to make an adjustment and it took a bit of patience to schedule a mutually agreeable work date; perhaps due to the distance from ProAir's home office.
