Crafty Renovations

This is actually the first negative review I have left on a business page, esp one or a young couple with young kids that need to survive, but I'm also not here to be taken advantage of. Casey started out great. He was there and planning everything out until he received the first portion of payment and from then on it was subcontractors he hired to do each section. Which I'm fine with, but wasn't discussed prior to me hiring him. From what I knew he and his crews were going to be doing my remodel. Not some other crews that he is subbing to come do it so he can be off doing whatever else. I only saw him at my house 2 other times since then. I told them before they started that out sleep scheduled were off because of night shift and late shifts so they they couldn't start until 9, there was a time or two where we slept through the call that they were there, we are human, just like they are. But in the end I got stood up by Casey for months with the house not being completed, the stuff that was being completed being a wreck, the rooms never being cleaned after rebuild of showers, flooring, everything. It was filthy. They left all of the trash in my backyard which my dogs then scattered around the yard. They filled the tub that was supposed to be thrown away up with tile pieces and trash pieces/boxes. They left the cabinets that I paid $900 to have painted like 80% complete, they left a piece of the metal angle iron hanging out of the wall down the side of shower. They left a big gashed out portion of sheet rock above other side of shower they built. Tiles are crooked, they lost the drain piece, they did all the painting first and then did the flooring and everything after leaving dust from the cutting all over everything and then random smears of mortar or grout in different areas. There's so much more. But I have him the benefit of the doubt because he was losing employees and short handed so I didn't even bother him for weeks thinking he would reach out and he didn't so I asked him when he was coming and he gave me a day two different weeks in a row but stood me up both of those weeks. THE WORSE PART IS HOW HE THOUGHT HE COULD HANDLE THIS BY CALLING ME A PETTY B****, AN INCOMPETENT ADULT, A IRRESPONSIBLE ADULT, AN ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER, and more. All because I put a dislike on his post asking for new business when he hasn't even manned up and took care of the ones he has. Wow what out irst part is he was someone I would have called a friend, so if he will do this to a friend he will do it to 10x worse to someone he doesn't know.
