J&D Handyman Service

Wow, I wish I had googled James Turner and J & D Handy,an before giving him a dime. Same as the other reviews. Terrible price gouging. Excuse after excuse of why he doesn’t do what he was hired to do. Late. Liar. I asked if he did gutters and he told me yes. He proceed to call a gutter company and then tried to charge me double what the bill actually was. Said he did work outside of my home that he didn’t do. Guess he thought I wouldn’t look (moron). Initially told me his rate was $45/hr and then denied it later when I questioned him about it. Charged me $800 for the cheapest, faulty gutter guards that he could get from Lowes and he paid $100 for them. Now I have to pay someone else to take them down because all they do is block off my brand new gutters. I’ve reported him to a few agencies. My mission is to get him stopped from stealing from innocent people who are just hiring who they think does home repair. Worst “business” I’ve ever dealt with.

All I can say is if you like your money,STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS THIEF!! Took deposit money for a pole barn, wrote Evans Lumber a bad check, kept the rest of my money. Disappeared, turned his phone off, and his address was a lie as well! I am pursuing every avenue possible to prosecute this waste of oxygen to the fullest extent of the law. Apparently they have a house cleaning and repair business as well. NO WAY UNDER THE SUN I WOULD LET THESE PEOPLE INSIDE MY HOME!! He said his wife, (soon to be ex he claimed) stole my money from his account. Her name is Jamie Turner according to him. You do what you want to but as for me, I am looking to have him locked up!!

Paid him a deposit on a job and never came and done the job like he said he would so he took all my money and ain’t heard anything from him

Stay away. Incompetent. Late. Riddled with excuses. Couldnt finish the job had to get someone else to fix his blunders. Stay away. Cost me to fix what he said he could do. Left his garbage. Onky worked a couple hours a day. 1 week job turned into 3 weeks and couldnt finish. Stay away. Tried to use sink trap for 3" drain
