Do not employ this company. Billy Mulcaire is dishonest, incompetent, rude, unprofessional and fraudulent with laughable “workmanship.” He overcharged me ($2600) to install metal flashing on my balcony railing to prevent water from leaking into the apt below. The work looked absolutely terrible- uneven, bumpy, with ridges and pockets that would collect water and dirt. I asked him to fix it and he tried to charge me another $1000! You know you're working with someone terrible when they do clearly awful work and then refuse to fix their mistake. I strongly suspect he would never have done that to a man. The work didn’t even last six months, and now I’m left with a PVC layer he put on top that’s raised an inch in places, with dips in others that collect puddles and dirt. The trim fell off, and it looks terrible. I asked Billy to fix it and he insulted me saying he "knows what I am like" and said he wouldn’t touch it. Worst contractor and worst human being I have ever encountered in my life.

I have worked with KingCaire construction on several projects, including an historic district rehab of a Washington DC row house and a roof-top deck. They did excellent work, competitive price, and approached the work thoughtfully, identifying solutions to issues that came up during the process.
