Boxer Remodeling and Renovations

On March 11, 2019, I purchased a home located in Benson, NC 27504 and contracted Miguel Sotelo -Owner of One Call Roofing & Construction (919)464-6483 to install a fence around the sides/back perimeter of the house, paint the inside of the home (walls & trim), install flooring and repair damaged/missing shingles on the roof. He began with installing the fence, and it took 1 and a half days. He had lots of material left over from the 1000 dog ear fence pickets and 35 concrete mix bags he bought. I gave him two checks, one for $3,900 and another for $5,000 (totaling $8,900). He informed me he would be using cypress wood for the fence but instead he used pine wood. He also informed me that he would make the fence 1 finger in between for gap, when he actually used 3 to 4 fingers for gap in 3/4ths of the fence. He also only used a half of bag of cement on each post. Most of the dog eared fence pickets were rotten, cut improperly, or had nails sticking out of them in weird places. The fence blew down from the base of the posts because they weren't filled in properly or completely. Now I have to have to have the entire fence taken down and reinstalled for an additional fee from a new company. He did complete the inside paint job using an outside subcontracted company that did not clean up after they were finished. He did not complete the flooring or roofing job. He took with him all of the remaining materials approximately 700 dog ear fence pickets and 20 concrete mix bags. He told me he was a licensed contractor, however once I questioned him about his work he would not give me his contractors license number for NC. Now Miguel will not answer any of my calls or texts.

completed the new roof to include replacing decking in a timely manner. Cleaned up all debris and crew was awesome. Recommend if you have roofing jobs

awesome crew, present everyday to work, took pride in what they were doing. Deck turned out great. Would recommend and I would use them again
