Mr Electric was very prompt in responding to my request to come out for a deck fan. Tom was extremely personable and meticulous in his work. He and Shawn installed the fan quickly and even went the extra mile to be certain a little wiggle, I didn't even see was corrected before they left.

Mr. Electric, Smithville, Mo Received a Quote for: $1,221.73 My husband took off work on Monday to have all 3 things listed above done. Was told that they would arrive between 8:00-10:00am. Received a call said that the previous job was taking longer than expected but they would be there this afternoon. My husband called around 12:15 to see how much longer because he had other things to do. The female said let me look through the folders and at some point my husband says, let me just come down there. When there, she pulls up the paper, which clearly says that we are having an attic fan installed, and my husband asked her what time are they going to get to our house, she says around 3:00pm. My husband then says, well if they don't get to my house until 3pm, is that going to be enough time to frame it in and get it installed. AND he then asked do you have the attic fan. She said no, it did not get ordered. So, my husband lost a vacation day by taking the entire day off for no work. When I called letting them know how frustrated I was, the female starts telling me how an electrician that worked with them for 14 years left and decided to do something else, .... NEVER did I hear any type of empathy or hear an I'M SORRY. I told her for a first time customer this is not leaving a good impression. I asked her at what point did you realize you never even ordered the attic fan. The answer "when my husband asked." So.... here are my points 1) Things happen and we get that, but..... there should be a process within the office that allows the remaining company to know what outstanding bids/jobs exist when an employee quits. 2) If you are going out on a call and you know it was someone else who did the bid who has quit, then you should be calling your customer before the scheduled date to CONFIRM the work that is scheduled to be done. 3) The female apparently was trying to tell my husband she was away sick or something and someone else did x,y, z etc... so that's why she didn't see it, know about it, etc... 4) For customer service, her business issues should not be transferred down to the customer that gets the brunt of it. Establish processes in place to ensure you know what outstanding bids/work need to be done.... I have no idea why we were told 8a-10a arrival only to really be 3p before they could get to my house. 5) A little empathy in her voice or an I'm Sorry, would have made all the difference in me writing this note. However, what I understand to be happening on the other end was she is probably stating to other's in the office what a B---- I am. I must say, I never raised my voice, cussed or called anyone names. I stated my frustration. The IMPRESSION I got was look lady, we had issues that were not our fault, I can't help it your frustrated. After all she rebutted to me that they offered to come later this week. I said, yeah, for my husband to have to take a 2nd vacation day. And now for the finality of this story. I asked her on the phone if there could be some type of discount for the inconvenience they have now caused. She said initially no, but that she would have to ask. I said, "I would appreciate it if you would ask your boss that question and have your boss call me back with that answer." Then, SHE calls me back, not the boss, but the female again and she NEVER says anything about the discount I asked, she immediately begins telling me that they are just now going over our invoice and guess what.... they don't now where the electrician got the pricing for the attic fan because..... the bid that we were given isn't even accurate, the cost was more expensive.... So, when she took her breath, silence for a moment from both of us and then I said, "so what are you telling me", she said well, the invoices are only good for 30 days and our invoice was > 30 days so if we could have acted sooner, then perhaps they could find maybe where that electrician got that type of pricing but she says she has "no idea" where he got that price to quote it because it was way cheaper than anything they can get for cost.....The female never did come across empathetic or even say "Well I checked into it and I'm so sorry we have already discounted it as much as we could by the original bid price....." instead, what she was indicating to me, not only did we mismanage our time estimate to complete projects, string you along all day to tie up your day that you used a vacation day only to get no work done because we A) did not even know before we got to your house the day of your scheduled work that we were to install an attic fan and, B) , we didn't even order a fan..... That's the problem, they didn't even know what work they were coming to our house to complete!!! and C) By the way, if you want us to do the work for you, your bid price has just now increased!!! I'm truly sorry to have to write this but... had there have been more empathy over the phone, this email would have NEVER been written.

Very reasonably priced, very fast, did an excellent job, very knowledgeable, very efficient, and they even gave military discounts. I was recommended to Mr Electric by Full Nelson Plumbing. I will recommend his services to my local HOA. He came out to replace some lights in the garage, correct the installation of some porch lights, and setup outdoor lights on a timer.
