Kyle did an AMAZING job on our remodel!! We could not be happier with the work he and his crew did!! The kitchen was completely gutted and replaced with new cabinets, quartz, tile backsplash, all new appliances and lighting. Also new flooring though out the kitchen, dining room and living room and installed new doors. The trim work around the windows and doors was remarkable. Kyle built a custom railing which we provided the concept for and he designed and implemented impeccably! Removed popcorn ceilings and prepped for painting and replaced a window with a new slider. On top of all that they built a fabulous deck off of it, extending our living space. The quality and craftsmen ship of all his work is truly amazing! A real craftsman indeed. Kyle was great to work with, excellent communication, attention to detail, very cognizant of the most cost effective way to do the work, ON TIME every single day (and I mean every day!) and he and his crew were so clean. It was actually shocking how clean they left the house every day. He and his team were a really neat people to have in your home on a daily basis for weeks at a time and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! We HIGHLY recommend Kyle (and we have already)! I hired Kyle Mistretta from Impressions In Wood to do a full kitchen remodel at my home. Kyle's vision for the original 1970's kitchen was impressive. He turned an old, outdated space into a thing of beauty! I love my new cabinets, granite countertops and Stainless Steel appliances. Kyle is a true professional and finished the project as promised. I LOVE MY BATHROOM! THANK YOU, KYLE! I’m pretty sure I have the best bathroom ever! I am so happy to have found Kyle! I wanted to hire a local contractor and I think I found the best one! His craftsmanship is amazing! Everything in my bathroom is custom and absolutely beautiful! I couldn't be happier. He is creative and came up with ideas I never would have thought of. Kyle pays attention to every single tiny detail and won't be satisfied with anything less than perfect. We had a similar vision for my bathroom, and I was part of the whole process. He is patient and kind and listened to all my ideas and concerns and addressed everything with professionalism. He truly wants you to be happy and save you money! In addition, he is very respectful of your home and any fur babies you might have. I have hired him for another project I am excited to get started on. He will be replacing my trim/molding and doors throughout my entire house. I wouldn’t think of hiring anyone else! I highly recommend Impressions in Wood!!

Do not hire Kyle (Impressions In Wood) for any remodeling projects. I had nearly my entire home remodeled and there are problems with everything he touched. Walls were built out of square, the shower pan doesn't have have enough slope to drain properly, tiles were cut improperly, doors were hung unevenly, flooring was cut wrong, wall texture was mismatched with existing texture with hose drag marks left on the wall, and the plumbing wasn't placed in the correct place which caused him to have to cut my very expensive vanity to accommodate his plumbing instead of moving the plumbing. He was extremely messy and left cigarette butts, tile, wood and sheet rock pieces all over my property. He was spray painting in my garage and got overspray all over my tool boxes, coolers, shelving, tools, floor, etc. He also charged me for extra materials because of his waste. He charged me for the daily lunch hour he took until I found out and quit paying for that hour (at which time he stopped taking lunch breaks). He said he was the cheapest (hourly rate) that was out there. That may be true, but he's also extremely slow and sub par at what he does. He was very disrespectful to me and my property and I warn anyone thinking of hiring him to find another contractor.
