  | Compton Green Kitchen | Jul 2014 | This 20 year old maple kitchen had been finished in the style of the times, with a white glaze highlight and conventional nitrocellulose lacquer, which had yellowed with age. We refinished over the top of this surface, with a tinted toner to brown it up a bit, and then a custom tinted glaze to hide the white highlight under it. We matched the nook chairs in the bay window. We altered the cabinet to accommodate a larger refrigerator and produced new replacement doors above, as well as new designer panels for all the appliances.   | Houghton Kitchen | Oct 2012 | Complete refinish of kitchen & family room cabinets. Tinted toner with matching hand applied glaze made this discolored cherry kitchen, that was originally stained with a gray stain, look like aged natural cherry. The white pigments in the stain made the wood look somewhat rosy and flat, which the homeowner found quite distasteful.
