Handyman - South Point, OH
Born and raised locally, we want to provide our community and neighbors with a quality of service that we don't see anymore. We are not out to take advantage of anyone. We want to show up, get the job done right, and get out. It saves us time and you money. I, Drew Gibson, grew up in southern Ohio. I grew up helping at my grandmother's convenient store, and eventually helping my father when he started his own landscaping business. My first experience in the construction industry came when I was 16 as I helped my uncle frame houses in Florida. In high school, my calculus and physics teacher offered me a part time job so long as I was still in school. I worked for him for 4 more years through college, learning the basis of my home repair knowledge from him. After attending Shawnee State University to achieve a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, I started working for a large remodeler in Connecticut. I went from laboror to carpenter fairly quickly and learned the majority of my building knowledge from the amazing master carpenters and a shop smith that I worked with, along with individual trade subcontractors. When we relocated to Dallas, TX, I went to work for a handyman that was growing his business. I learned the proper way to run a business of this sort from him, realizing that people want to see a professional show up at there door. People don't want to see someone they can find hanging out on a street corner show up to their home with little more than a dirty rag and a hammer. His business has grown from working out of his garage with one helper to working out of a shop with three handymen underneath and a very loyal client base. My wife and I have decided to relocate back to home with our young son to be with family. So, here we are. Maybe this is more than you want to know, but I think that trust starts with getting to know where someone comes from. As I stated before, my mission is to establish a mutually beneficial relationship with every single customer that makes you know I'm the guy you need to call when you've got a problem. My goal is to keep it personable, but still professional.
