Called HD appliance and they sent Dino from D and B Remoldeling/Appliance Repair. Dino took my money and never returned to fix my appliance with the parts that I ordered. Called him numerous times to schedule and he was a no show twice. If you look him up on Better Business Bureau there are numerous complaints to which he never responded to which tells you everything you need to know. He’s definitely a scam artist and I really don’t know how he can live with himself. I would give him 0 stars if I could.

PSA....Scammer Alert! Stay far away from this guy! I wish I had done my homework and checked here first. 5 months ago I called Appliance HD because I needed my stove repaired and they sent this bozo. First thing he did was make sure that I was gonna pay him his fee which was separate from the Appliance HD fee that I was already charged. Then he did a half ass job fixing my stove and told me it was only a temporary fix and that I needed to order expensive parts because I have an expensive stove. I gave him close to $1000 for coming out, to fix my stove and to order all these parts that he said I needed. Then he said that he repairs most anything and asked me if I had any handyman jobs for him. Thank God that I didn’t! I have tried to schedule several appts for him to come back to finish the job that he started with the parts that I paid for but it’s been one excuse after another and no shows. Per the FBI, he has a long rap sheet and left Florida because they were after him for being a scamming appliance repairman there too. He tries to make you feel bad and says he came to CT because his daughter is sick. If you call him out, he gets defensive and gaslights you saying that he tried contacting you but really never did. Please do yourself a favor and don’t let this scum of a human into your home. He is bad news. His name is Dino Sozzani. He doesn’t even have a home improvement license which he lists that he does. Just google D and B Remodeling in South Windsor and you will see a lot of complaints. It’s not a one time thing. It’s his MO and he continuously scams people left and right but not for long. It’s gonna catch up with him real soon. Shame on you Dino. You can run but you can’t hide!

Work wasn't completed. Phone calls weren't returned. Did not show up on time for multiple appointments. I am out 2000+ and my issue has not been resolved.

We found Dino on Appliance HD. Beware. He is not a reputable serviceman! Sorry I did not read the reviews on this person. Also, don't use Appliance HD as a referral company. Dino came and proceeded to fix our dishwasher. It was working. He wanted to be paid by check or I could download an app on our phones and pay by credit card. I did not want to download an app so I paid him by check, $445.88. He left. The dishwasher stopped working. Called him right away. He came back and said I needed a new dishwasher. He said he would send back the money for the new part he put in. I never saw the money for the part and I was left with a broken dishwasher. I have filled a complaint with Appliance HD, but I don't think that will go anywhere. I filled a complaint with the Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
