This builder has been terrible to work with. During the building process, I had to stay on top of them to make sure extra upgrades were put into the house that I paid for. Their contractors can’t build a wall straight. As soon as we were closed I noticed that there were voids under the tiles in our laundry room that caused the tiles to crack when you stepped on them. My backyard is currently turning into a mudslide because they have not put up a silt fence on the lot that is under construction next door. My garage door is two different shades of gray. The list goes on and on. I’ve made numerous attempts to contact them with no result.

Skylake Construction is the worse builders I've ever dealt with. The builders of the company has absolutely poor workmanship. The materials used is lower than builders grade. I was rushed to closed on a home that was not completely finished after charging me $50 per day until I closed. The owner also threatened to sale my home. The loan was approved and a closing date was given. Keep in mind I have put my own money upfront in upgrading the floors, kitchen cabinets and top. My shower floors was not leveled and the water was moving away from the drain, the land isn't graded correctly so there's water coming in several homes including mines. The measurements throughout the home is off. The tubs and sinks are damaged. I have only been in my home 7 months and I'm ready to sell.

Horrible company....they don't care about anything but money. They tell you to put in warranty requests but if THEY have to fix it it won't get done. I have been asking them to repair my yard since DECEMBER and I moved in this house in November. The yard wasn't graded correctly. It is uneven and bumpy. The grass isn't growing...the sod they use is crap. They didn't even lay the sod correctly. They just throw ish together and move on. Its not just me there are alot of us. Check out Google reviews. If you see a house you like and it's built by Sky Lake don't waste your time its not worth the headache to deal with this company. Stay clear from Catherine. I didn't like her when we 1st met her. Her attitude is the worst. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
