Amazing Glaze Llc

Chris Bruce manages and performs work for his own company, Amazing Glaze. His website and social media pages are filled with what appears to be good work. I hired Chris roughly a month ago to perform a bathtub refinish which ultimately went unfulfilled. After coming to the house and sanding the fiberglass, Chris requested additional payment on to of what I paid him for a deposit. After that day, Chris has no-showed three times and has refused to call, text, or email me back despite being under contract to finish my bathtub. Upon investigation to determine if Chris or his company was bonded or insured, he dodged the questions several times. I discovered that the Amazing Glaze business license is expired and he had performed work with it expired. Due to Chris's lack of completed work and inability to respond, I fired him from the job and requested a refund as he defaulted on the contract and performed work illegally. Do not hire Amazing Glaze unless you want to pay for a drawn out, grueling, process that may or may not get finished and ultimately end in small claims court.

Chris did an outstanding job. He accommodated every request, answered all my questions, and the work was done quickly and effectively as promised. Should I have similar projects in the future, Chris will be the first person I call. Thank you Chris!
