Universal Remodeling Solutions is a full service remodeling company specializing in Kitchens, Baths, Universal Design, Aging In Place, Green Remodeling applications, and general remodeling. The owner, Tom Boehnke, has a Masters degree from Wright State University and over 17 years of experience. He is also a Universal Design Certified Remodeler, Green Certified Professional, Certified Remodeler, a Certified Lead Carpenter, a Certified Renovator, and most recently a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. UNIVERSAL DESIGN and AGING IN PLACE are design approaches that allow people to function within their home, regardless of abilities for example; Lever Handle Faucets that can be effectively used by children and elderly members of the home. The intent of Universal Design is to simplify daily activities for family members of all ages and abilities. For example, installing doorways to accommodate a family member with a walker or wheelchair, grab bars, and walk in bath tubs. We can even modify an entire kitchen to be easily accessible for people who live with physical challenges.
