Country Kitchen in White & Blue | May 2014 | This farmhouse kitchen is brightened up in so many ways. Widening one doorway, removal of a wall, installing french doors to deck, and using light colored materials for countertop, cabinets, flooring, tile, and paint. All space is maximized with creative cabinet solutions. It fits in the country, but has a super clean modern feel. | Kilbourne, IL
Bring on the Glam! | Jul 2013 | This newer home had a basement with a blank slate. We started with one very fun bar stool and designed the room to fit. Extra style with the soffit really defines the space, glass front cabinetry to show off a collection, and add great lighting and some mirrors and you have the bling. Base cabinets are all about function with separate beverage and wine refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave and ice maker. Bling meets true functionality. | Springfield, IL
Perfectly Rustic Bathroom | Apr 2013 | A perfectly rustic bathroom for the homeowner's desire for rustic, Texan style. This bathroom remodel was a blend of old and new, a weathered paint application to the existing vanity blends well with the rusted corrugated steel. Travertine wall panels in shower along with deep toned tile floor work well with the rusted steel wall also. Zero threshold entry into shower ensures the style is not interrupted and oil rubbed bronze fixtures blend in with an aged look. For lighting, a farm style fixture was faux finished to have the right-off-the-ranch feel. The mirror was wrapped in slightly pounded corrugated steel. Quartz vanity top keeps the sturdy feel. Probably the most eye-catching element is the hooks mounted on weathered wood. Hooks are rusted feet off of an old cast iron tub. Designing and building necessary custom pieces are the challenging, yet fun components of projects like these. | Springfield, IL
Rejuvenated 5 x 9 Bathroom | Sep 2012 | So most homes have one or more 5 x 9 bathrooms. Small space yes, but possibilities...yes again! This bathroom is a classic example of how a very typical bathroom size and layout can still yield a modern and more spacious feel. Stone wall panels by ForzaStone, heavy glass shower door, floating vanity...pretty from top to bottom. | Springfield, IL
Texan Style Basement | Jan 2012 | Combination of basement bar, family space, entertaining, football - all in Texas style. Reclaimed wood, exposed steel, Alamo inspired tile work, custom countertop brackets, stacked stone and rusted corrugated steel come together for a very chic & rugged ranch style space.
