K & F Masonry

Would not recommend K&F Construction due to lack of expertise and integrity. I hired K&F to raise the basement hatch way and install a new hatch door. On the first rainfall post completion water came through all the concrete blocks that were installed. K&F did not properly install the concrete block. I immediately contacted Matt (of K&F) and he said he would come out on to fix it. He three times he said h would show up to fix the issue but never showed. On the third attempt he said he was "way behind schedule" on another job and recommended I hire another contractor to fix the issue and he would pay for it at the agreed price. ($925). As agreed I hired New England Foundation Crack Repair to fix the issue (and they did a Great Job!) but Matt (of K&F) never paid New England Foundation Crack Repair and no longer answers text messages or calls.

My job was to rebuild a chimney that was in really bad condition. This contractor started of with good communication of cost and the amount of time that was required. He spoke with dedication to the best outcome and options within city regulations. Clean- up after job completion was awful. Months after the job was completed-I was surprise upon my first usage of the fire place to have had a back draft within the cold season. He did not return my numerous calls about all the cement that was left in the fire place, clogging the airway, from rebuilding the chimney. For months my messages went unanswered. I bumped into this guy within the community; explained my situation - he finally came by and blamed his workers. At this point only 50% of the cement was removed. Contractor Kevin, does not test his work out upon completion, he does not double check after his workers and they will leave a mess after a job.
