tart Date: July 21st 2021 Estimated Completion: 8 - 10 weeks Actual Completion Date: As of 2/18/2022, still incomplete Note: This is an overview of the major points of the terrible service provided by this company. Delays of weeks and months were blamed on “supply issues”; however, in each case, the supplies had been dropped off and were ON SITE weeks or months earlier. February 17th- The plaster was applied on the 10th of February and was completely filled by the morning of February 12th; today, the filled pool is green since they have NOT YET RETURNED to turn on the equipment or give instructions on running the equipment. We were told they would be back as soon as the pool was filled with water and called them on Monday regarding the delay - today is FRIDAY. We HAVE NOT turned it on because that would void any warranty and give them an “out” on taking responsibility for any issues their repeated delays have caused in equipment and condition of the pool. On October 13th, tile was placed on the fix to the decking issues (see July 21st 2021). As of today’s date, February 17th 2022, it remains ungrouped. We have told nearly weekly that they would be by to grout that tile; then that it would be done before the plastering. December and January ’22: The inspection failed twice; the first time was because the owner had filed the permitting incorrectly with a “fence and alarm” rather than a screened enclosure. We had put the fence back in place and ordered an alarm and notified them that they could recall for the inspection two days later only to learn that he had revised the permitting. Another three week delay. We notified the enclosure company to move forward (after having had to reschedule four times) and passed the inspection. November 30th - We are told that the pump that was permitted for our job is “unavailable” and we would receive an “upgraded pump”. On December 10th - 16th - 20 weeks - Pump installer arrives with the allegedly upgraded pump. Checking the permitting package, we see that there was NO UPGRADE to the pump. They insist that the pump was upgraded until we provide them with the pool specification sheet showing that the permitted pump was the one delivered. November 10th 2021 - 16 weeks 1 day - The texturizing is applied to the decking but is nearly non-existent in some places on the decking. We ask for more to be applied which is done on November 11th. The texture is still unevenly applies with areas in which it is nearly non-existing. July 21st 2021 - Day ONE: Transit for pool elevation set off the wrong building. When decking was poured on September 24th 2021 (9 weeks and 3 days later), the error resulted in a 4 inch slope into our pool house/gazebo over a 4 ft 3 in length of decking. The normal slope for that size deck is 1 inch per 4 feet. The remedy for this was NOT offered to us and we had to insist that they redo the decking at the pool house/gazebo/shallow end. The end result is a six inch step up from the floor of the pool house to the decking and the new portion of the deck has straight edges instead of beveling that is done on the remainder of the deck.
