The highest rating because the work done was of the highest calibre. Juan came on time, worked all day, finished on time and was ultra neat and detailed in his work. He painted my bedroom a very high gloss paint - which had to be sprayed on the walls, but not on the woodwork, ceiling, doors, window frames. A challenging piece of painting and he did it so perfectly. He is not only a master painter, he is a good human being.

Juan and company definitely live up to the name of the business. The work they did for us was outstanding, and Juan is a genuine pleasure to deal with; thoughtful and very thorough, with an outlook towards quality control. I will recommend them with enthusiasm to anyone needing painting, and plan to work with them again on future projects

Juan and his crew were extremely professional, articulate, and a pleasure to have in the house! We are very satisfied with the job and will have them back soon. I never thought I would hug my painters goodbye but, these guys are really personable. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the quality of their work and how educated they are specifically for these skills.

Fascia and gutters painting | Feb 2015 | This house had just had the roof replaced, and the drip edge was 1 1/2 inches shorter than the old one, so the unpainted area of the aluminium fascia was exposed. We primed the exposed metal to protect it, and also primed the gutters to promote adhesion. All followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore DTM paint for a fresh, finished look! We also painted the front door to match the white we applied on the fascia and pressure washed the entire building to remove dirt and mildew. | $900 | Pinellas Park, FL
Clearwater Station Square condo | Jan 2015 | Painted 2 coats on all ceilings, walls and baseboards in this 1200sqf condo at this beautiful apartment building in downtown Clearwater. Did some minor drywall and texture repairs where needed. As seen in the picture, we vacuumed all carpets and clean all countertops, floors and more to get it ready for the customer to move in | $3k | Clearwater, FL
Residential repaint | Jan 2015 | Painted all walls on several areas throughout the residence, including hallways, kitchen, living room, dining room, stairwell and loft. Switched finish from flat to satin for more washability. Great when you have kids! | $2k | St Petersburg, FL
Cabinet refinishing/faux woodgrain | Dec 2014 | Refinished cabinets with a faux technique giving the illusion that it is actual stained wood | $2k | Clearwater Beach, FL
Plaster repair for water damaged hallway | Dec 2014 | Vacation apartment in downtown Saint Petersburg. This hallway had been water damaged by a pipe leak years ago. The previous owner of the apartment had "dealt" with the problem by putting up wood paneling all over walls and ceiling, hiding the problem but not solving it. When the new homeowner moved in, the paneling started falling apart and we got called in to inspect it. We found there was mold and fungi growing between the paneling and the plaster, creating a health hazard for the homeowner. We subcontracted a restoration company to remove the paneling and mitigate the mold. After that, testing revealed the mold to have been completely eliminated. We took over the project after that and repaired the damaged plaster and skimcoated the walls and ceiling to a smooth finish, then primed it all to seal the compounds. And all of this was coordinated with the customer living out of town! | $1k | St Petersburg, FL
1930's craftsman house exterior painting and repairs | Jul 2014 | We first got hired to paint two rooms in the interior of this beautiful 1930 home. We did some plaster repairs and painted walls and ceilings, then the inside of windows, all baseboards and doors of these bedrooms with oil based paint. The customer was so happy with the results that we got hired again to take on the exterior painting and repairs. We started by giving the house a thorough pressure wash to remove dirt and some of the peeling paint. As we did so, we found some boards that had been affected by the elements and were rotting. We replaced all the damaged boards and even repaired the house wrap underneath. We used cedar siding to match the existing 1930 materials. We then caulked all new seams in the siding, and all the open cracks in the existing siding. We then painted all the exterior wood, and all 26 french windows. Some of the windows required some wood filling and priming to restore to their original beauty. The customer was very satisfied with how our team painted all the window sashes without getting any paint in the glass. It pays off to have some fine painters in our crew! This historical beauty is now looking like if it had been built just yesterday!! | $4k | Saint Petersburg, FL
Decorative painting in Snell Isle | Apr 2014 | What we did in this home transformed it from a plain looking space, to a modern, chic look! We started by patching all the imperfections on the drywall to achieve an ultra-smooth finish. We painted all the interior walls and elements of woodwork, sharpening the edges between the woodwork and the walls with tape and caulk for a crisp look. And then the fun started: We helped the homeowner pick some "all-over" stencils to create accent walls in the living room area and master bedroom. We repeated the pattern throughout entire walls, filling in the spaces around the edges by free handing the pattern. It added to the space an extra touch of customization, and a lot of pizzazz! The customer was extremely happy with the results! | $2k | St Petersburg, FL
Wine room decorative painting | Mar 2014 | This customer is a wine aficionado, and had the brilliant idea of turning the nook under his staircase into a little wine room. While being a small space, he wanted it to be as attractive as possible. He contacted us and told us he wanted a faux technique on the walls, but wasn't exactly sure of what. The one thing he had clear was that he wanted us to incorporate a deep red color, as red wines are his preference. After that, he gave us free rein to do what we thought would fit best in the room. We suggested to use a medium depth red so the color wouldn't make the room look smaller. We also picked out some green and red to pick up the dark tones of the door and the baseboards. We mixed each color with a glazing compound, and got to work with rags and sponges, blending the colors to achieve the final look you see in the pictures. We ended by painting the ceiling with a bright white to enlighten the room and make it seem bigger. When the customer got home and saw what we did, he was ecstatic! | $600 | Seminole, FL
Downtown St Petersburg apartment renovation | Jan 2014 | This place needed a lot of work! Located at the Flori de Leon building in St Petersburg, where stars like Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth used to own their penthouses for the spring training season, this apartment had been sadly disregarded for a few decades. We spent a lot of time and a great deal of TLC in restoring it to its former beauty. We did just about everything here! Mold removal, drywall repairs, plaster and lath repairs, reconditioning of the old plaster, skimcoating, texturing, switched all woodwork from oil paint to latex paint (better for the environment!) and polished it all to a shine for it to be picture perfect and ready to move in. Our team enjoys restoration work the most, and we were happy to say that, at the end of the job, the customer was ecstatic with the end product and how we dealt with any issue that arose. Read the review by Mr and Mrs Mussmacher for their opinion!! And last but not least, props to Mrs Mussmacher for her choices in color and decor. It was all her idea! She blended the old 1920's architecture and these electric bright colors seamlessly!! | $6k | Saint Petersburg, FL |
