Norwalk CT Siding Project | Feb 2015 | All we can say is wow! The pictures speak for themselves on this one - it's a complete transformation. This colonial with a charming front entry decorative system, set within a gorgeous landscape, with all of its paint peeling off the cedar clapboard siding, screamed make me beautiful again! Not only did the homeowners want that too, they wanted it to be eye-opening, and they easily achieved that. We installed new CertainTeed Cedar Impressions perfection-style vinyl siding in Charcoal Gray with white trim. The new window casings and decorative crown moldings really frame the windows nicely and the black shutters add more dimension to the house. The homeowners definitely achieved the eye-opener they were looking for! | Norwalk, CT
North Stamford CT Siding Project | Jan 2015 | The homeowner's vision for their house was to freshen up the look to today's standards, while maintaining it's original integrity and classic New England appeal. This colonial originally had old, weather-beaten rough-split cedar shake siding with white shutters and a decorative crown molding above the front entry door. We installed new CertainTeed Cedar Impressions Perfection straight-edge style vinyl siding in light maple with white trim over the entire house. Black shutters were added to give the house some contrast and really make them pop. We also installed a white traditional front entry door surround system and white crown moldings on all of the windows. These decorative elements complete and frame this house beautifully. What a clean, uniform and sophisticated look this house has now! | Stamford, CT
Greenwich CT Siding Project | Jan 2015 | The homeowners at this charming colonial in Greenwich CT had grown tired of the style of their existing cedar shingles siding, the constant wood maintenance, and wanted to make a dramatic difference in the look of their home. Originally, the white shingles were complimented with black shutters and a white, flat decorative sunburst above the front entry door. By completely changing the style of siding and adding decorative elements - what a dramatic difference they did achieve! We installed CertainTeed Monogram clapboard-style vinyl siding in Colonial White and white trim over the whole house. Pops of color were added with new Forest Green shutters. White fluted pilasters were added to the front entry door, and we changed that boring flat front entry sunburst to a fanned version to add some detail . It looks like a brand new house! | Greenwich, CT
New Rochelle NY - Historical District Roofing Project | Aug 2014 | This was a unique project for us because the homeowner lived in a historical neighborhood district in Westchester County, NY. These districts are heavily governed to keep the integrity and visual beauty of the area, so only certain building materials, styles and colors can be used. The house originally had a cedar shingle roof, as do all the other houses, and that's the material that's approved for use when a roof is replaced. Cedar roofs do not last very long, are expensive, and are tough to maintain, and the homeowner did not want to deal with these costs and maintenance anymore. After a few months of us and the homeowner working with the board, they approved one of the designer roofing shingles we offer as an alternative to a real cedar roof. We installed a new GAF Camelot designer roof, which is an asphalt/fiberglass roofing shingle. It looks great on this house and the details in the style of shingle really stands out, and keeps with the look of the neighborhood. | New Rochelle, NY |
