I would not recommend him to anyone. The contract was breached in several areas and I regret that I did not realize this at the time of final payment. I was charged over $1000.00 more than the contract quote. This was presented to me on the final day of the job and added to the remaining amount of the quote. Why? I was told the job entailed more than was expected and that this was covered in the quote. The fence repair was to “install new fence posts where necessary”.—also to “remove damaged fence panels and install new panels where necessary”. Additional money was added for “tear down of run of fence”. The contract states such charges would require a signature of acknowledgement. I was never told of additional charges and was not asked to sign additional job quote. The contract also called for applying 2coats of paint to exterior home-this was not done. The multiple jobs were completed by one worker. The employee was skilled but I assisted him in installing the wooden gate. I paid for the gate hardware. His quote was more than others but I chose him—another reason I am disappointed in myself. Finally, the job was started 3 months after the contract was signed.
