I met and hired Mr. Cutler in mid -September 2017. Mr. A. Cutler presents himself very well and professional initially. However, he does NOT do the actual work! He has a crew of men that are messy, do not respect the customers home, do not pay attention to detail, and do not clean up after themselves. I had to call Mr. Cutler several times regarding the workmanship. His men would leave the house and leave lights on, or water running, etc. He is a good talker. Makes a lot of promises, but then is slow to follow through. Often he does not remember was he says. Customer service is extremely lacking. He did repair a ceiling (which was apart of the original estimate) and paint it flat white. However, he never lets you forget what he did gratis when you start to complain about the workmanship or his crew! I have overheard both him and his men speak badly about other female customers, expletives, etc.. He doesn't follow through in a timely manner then he will act like it is the fault of the customer! I made the mistake of paying him ($3250) prior to inspecting the final work! I had to wait days then weeks for him to return to finish the "small" things as he called it. They still did not sand nor smooth or remove ALL of the mud that they dripped in various places. His men also threw out personal items of mine, left drywall dust over just about everything, my porch was white, and spackling/mud was tracked all over my kitchen floor by the time they were done over the course of 3-4 days. Mr. Cutler continued to make promises to make things right, but forgets what he says. Like most contractors, they think that they can treat a female any type of way especially once they have been paid! He will constantly say, "we are trying to please you" then don't show up as promised or make a lot of excuses for why things are still not done or completed. I was accused of being "petty" because I complained and because I demanded that they fix their workmanship, which included a hole in the sheet rock in one bedrooms clean up after themselves, etc. It became an extremely stressing experience. I think that if I was a man I would not have been treated with delays and disrespect. Furthermore, there was work that was to be completed that was in the contract that was not done! Including but not limited to sanding and smoothing the drywall and a repair to my downstairs bathroom. I had to pay another contractor to come in and sand and smooth the walls, make corrections to the drywall that his men worked on, remove the mud that his men dripped on many of the walls and window sills before my walls could be painted. A expense that cost me well over $2000 in the end. AC Drywall did not do what he was contracted to do and the workmanship was very poor. I will NEVER use or recommend AC Drywall to anyone!
