Doug came out to my home to service my AC unit, through my home warranty service. I told him that it was running but that it was blowing room temperature air instead of cold air. He went outside and checked the unit and came back within 3 minutes and told me it did need freon, then proceeded to answer 3 separate phone calls while he was talking to me. He told me that my warranty service was going to decline the Freon because my coils were dusty ( had Absolute Cooling maintenance it in Feb 2022) and that I could pay him $125. per pound to do it through him. I said that I wanted to call my warranty company to verify and he said he didn't want to wait and to just give him his money. When I refused until I got my warranty company on the phone, he said to me "I know why you won't pay me! It's because I'm black! " I was appalled that because I wanted to verify what he was telling me, he wanted to take his money and run but I had to stand there and wait while he took his phone calls! Stay away from these people especially Doug, he is dishonest and abusive to customers that question him. I'm a single elderly woman and I guess he thought my questioning him speaking as my warranty company gave him the right to pull the race card. Terrible service, terrible character!
