American Building Remodeling and Painting

I finally got a note from American Building Remodeling and Painting that indicated they were out of the are due to a family emergency. I can understand the situation and feel for them. The only problem I still have is that they could have called me even if it meant taking information with them. But they probably could have called before they left. I talked to Roger's wife and she never said anything about leaving just said they would get back to me that day or the next. In this day and age it is not an excuse to call someone that you are doing business with. I did a reimbursement from them.

They were to have fixed French doors so that there was no air or dust leakage. It was not done right and they put caulking on it. On June 27th they were to talk to someone else re what could be done and why the stuff on the bottom of the door was shredding. One of them my husband, who has Alzheimer's, got caught up in and fell. Then God he was not hurt bad. Since the 27th I have called on numerous occasions and left a message and no on returns my call nor have they come out to fix the door. I am very discouraged as I liked Roger and thought he seemed trustworthy. If something had come up as to why they could not come back, I would understand. But, courtesy calls for a phone call and/or to return multiple phone calls.
