Jim was first to reply via porch.com my request for help! A new kitchen sink/faucet/RO system was incorrectly installed.....Jim saw the multiple problems and proceeded to redo all. Jim is professional, friendly and highly skilled. Thanks Again Jim.

Jim did such an amazing job on our project. He went over and above on a couple of things. He was also very friendly, professional and punctual. We will be using Jim for all of our AZ branch projects.

I hired Jim on two separate occasions, installation of a new kitchen faucet and to hang a sliding barn door over a laundry room entrance. Both jobs were completed quickly and expertly. As a retired ASID Interior Designer, I've been involved in the construction industry myself for 28 years, and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was in finding someone who is so knowledgeable across the board in all phases of construction. I will be calling Jim in the future, knowing I can rely on his expertise and suggestions.

A job that everyone else quoted would take 3 days max took 8 business days (and didn't finish everything) Jim is messy, never cleaned up after himself, never worked a full day 8-5 (although the 1st day he was close). Left nails and screws on ground where we and our dogs could get injured. Did not countersink nails on trim. Put up walls crooked and had to fix it. He said he had a triangle in the car, but did not use it when he should have (initial framing) Did not finish the trim work such as baseboards did not get put in even though it was discussed during bidding phase. When adding onto an existing wall you can see where the first and new wall meet because one sticks out a bit.. Got texture spray over walls, doorknobs etc on walls he wasn't even spraying. Got white plaster & taping compound on carpet, doors, walls, furniture etc. Cut carpeting that was not going to be replaced. Now we have to extend the new flooring ( which he doesn't have time to install. ) into a room we were not going to have it. While he did work around some stuff we were trying to move, the first half of job...which I am sure was a hassle. It's just not the quality nor too completion that we were expecting. We now have to hire someone else to finish off the job. We had an electrical contracted on the weekend and they cleaned up perfectly. I don't understand why when we have a dumpster that he wouldn't throw away the boxes from the closet doors he installed. But had no problem throwing away large pieces of trim that we pain for and needed to use to complete the job. While he has lots of insurance... I should not have allowed that to be a big part of my deciding factor on him. He wasn't the cheapest, but I expected more from him. Nice guy, but only hire if you have a lot of extra time to spend on a project. Or get the time frame in the contract and make sure to list a penalty if he doesn't stick to it.
