Randy Ronk & Son Quality Painting

We hired Ronk & Son's over 10months ago to paint/stain our deck (top, bottom and railings) as well as our house (full house including trim work). We were asked frequently for more money to help pay for his staff and product. To our surprise, Randy when only half way through the job, asked for the full amount. We thought it was odd but he was following up on progress and delays and seemed trustworthy (our mistake). After we paid Randy in full, his crew stopped work, in the middle of fixing the deck and only painting part of the deck. Trim work had deck stain and parts of the trim were not finished. We sent several text messages and were told they were busy or weather permitting they would be out. They stopped all together in October 2015 and basically stopped communicating with us. We finally had to start threatening Randy in 2016 when the weather was better to get him to complete what he started. As of today, the trim work has deck stain on it, the paint is peeling and bubbling everywhere and it appears he used different color trim (some light some dark on the railings). There is also deck paint all over the railing. After 10 months of trying to get Randy to do what he promised in 2015 we asked him to stop. We had several local professionals out who couldn't believe what a bad job he did. We had to hire a new painter to finish the job so we could get the job done and protect our wood. We also hired a new contactor to fix the deck work they had done.
