We purchased our home in 1992, not knowing anything about the issues with polybutelyne pipes. We had no problems until a few years ago, but those leaks were in the basement ceiling. Last December, within days of one another, we had two leaks in the kitchen ceiling. Ken came out immediately and fixed both of them so we would not be without water. My husband and I knew we'd have to replace all the plumbing one day and decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and do it. It was a huge project, but Ken did the work such that we did not have to move out of the house and we always had water at the end of the day. He patched or replaced drywall as he went. He also replaced our entire kitchen ceiling. During his work, he found some situations that were potentially dangerous, such as with wiring, and would fix those issues as he went. Another issue he found is that the support beams in our basement were bowing, not sufficient to hold the weight of the kitchen above, and not secured to the floor. If we had hit one of those beams with our car, the whole floor above could have collapsed into our basement. Ken is a friend of ours, so I know his work ethic and we trust him implicitly. He will always be our #1 go-to guy for any project we undertake and I recommend him highly.

This is not like any home contractor I have ever had! He arrived on time, finished when he promised, did not leave a mess all over my house and yard, came in at an honest cost. I can highly recommend Zacks Home Repair and Ken Kelmer!

Ken with Zack's home repair is a true professional. We have used him on several small projects and each one has been completed to our satisfaction. He is on time, thorough, accurate and honest. I recommend him highly and will continue to use him on future projects. A great experience!

We heard about Zacks Home repair through a neighborhood friend and used him for what we though was just one project, once we saw the dedication of the work and the professionalism, we ended up using Ken for many more projects in our basement. Electrical, tile, baseboards, doors, home theater set up, etc. I believe Ken can do it all and I trust his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for just about any project that needs to be done. We are very happy with our end results and will continue to use Ken for any projects we have in the future.
