Barletta Electric

My experience with Steve Barletta was dreadful. I purchased a 1961 Cadillac from him, and he told me that his brother (who is an electrician) did the electrical work. I have since found that Steve Barletta is the owner of the electrical business. Outside of the $7 ,000 worth of work to fix the mechanical and interior needs (which were not only disguised in the slick pictures taken, but not even mentioned on Ebay . The electrical problems were superfluous. - I will just stick to the electrical problems. When I called Steve Barletta prior to buying the car I was apprised that there were no electrical issues of which he was aware,. But what I found was the following: -1- Parking light in front out. -2- Head light out. -3- Front seat motor dis-engaged. -4- Passenger window motor not working. -5- Directional not working. -6- Interior light not working. -7- Bad Battery. -8- Parking light in rear not working. The real kicker is that all of these issues were discovered by my 7 year-old nephew (in about 5 minutes) when checking-out the car. I have not even mentioned the $4,000 expense to fix the engine which was about to throw a piston rod. I decided to just take care of all the electrical issues, and not apprise Steve Barletta of the problems But, when the transmission started to leak, and the engine block was about to break, I felt it my duty to apprise the public of this illusive character (in my opinion from my experience). How did I come to this conclusion? When i tried to seek compensation from Steve Barletta, he never got back to me expect to emailthat he would " call his lawyer if I continued to scam him." I asked Steve Barletta for his lawyer's tel no,, and I am still waiting 3 months later for an answer. Moreover, I have had "Return Receipt mail" sent back to me twice". Once sent to his business as "Rocket Motors" using the Baletta Electric as it's address, and once at his home address. Only one receipt mail got through (out of three) which was to his house. The other return receipt was sent back to me marked "tenant moved, no forwarding address". Yet on his Face Book page, it shows him hauling a tractor trailer load of cars to the Hersey Car Show in October.- last month Moreover, despite repeated emails, I have heard nothing back. Because of my experience with Steve Barletta, and I feel it is my duty to protect potential unsuspecting customers from having to go through my experience. Would you like to have this experience?
