We hired Danny Nguyen in 2021 for a few remodeling jobs. These jobs included carpentry, a mini split (AC) installation, and the replacement of florescent lights with LED lights. He assured us that he was qualified to do the work and always used the word “trust” when negotiating the contract and how everybody he’s worked for treats him as family. His work ethic, ghosting and lame excuses (i.e. weather, family member either dying or visiting from Vietnam, tree falling on roof etc) were just the beginning. One thing for sure your job will always come second for he has a second business of making furniture when he’s not make excuses. Most of the work he did was left unfinished and work area was a mess, leaving us as his clean-up crew (I’m still picking up his cigarette butts). His electrical work entailed loose wiring and a direct short in the high voltage side of the mini split that could have resulted in permanent equipment damage or electrocution. After taking down some of florescent light fixtures he just left the wires hanging bare leaving a safety hazard. Carpentry is the only thing Danny is somewhat average at but don’t expect him to do anything quick. When he did make an appearance he wanted to talk about a new contract before the old one was close to being completed and how he would reciprocate for errors in the past. We had to sue Danny and are now waiting for our monies which he said he would pay in August, that didn’t happen. Danny is nothing more than a liar, thief and a mediocre carpenter.
