The lady Jayme does scheduling and admin. Troy is her husband who does the labor side. Troy quoted me $1.4K to complete the stain of my 39’8’ foot deck. Quoted 600sq ft to ensure I paid For the time/product of railings and sides. No biggie, I get it. His wife scheduled him to come for his His first visit April 1. Troy showed at 1040 which was later than discussed, but that’s ok. I paid the full $1.4K in cash that day. Troy did take a lunch. He left about 5/530p that day. Said he’d come back that weekend to finish. 2. Was unable to come to finish till April 8 due to car trouble and such. Once again cool. I left town this day. Troy text me at 1140 with a picture of him driving on the highway to my house. Later than we discussed, but still ok. He came from Tallahassee to do my job. I asked before he started if that was ok. He said the job was big enough so yes. I don’t know what time he arrived as I was out of town. He text he was getting lunch at about 345p. That’s ok with me, people need to eat ya know. I am still out of town. I do not know when he left. The next day, Troy’s wife text me and said Troy would need more stain. I had never heard from Jayme at this point. She asked to be paid in advance so they didn’t have to purchase more product out of picket. Jayme said $216 for the stain which is the price online and asked for $67 in gas money. I paid $300 to be kind via Venmo. After reflection though, Troy told me he gets 20% off product through Home Depot because of the pro referral. So the product only cost him $174. 3. Troy came out with the new product on April 15. At 1100 he text me a picture of him driving on the highway on his way. I do not know what time he actually arrived. I was at work. When I got home about 430p, he was in back working. I attempted to say hello, but he had headphones in and didn’t hear me. Troy left about 645p. I know this because I was at my neighbors house across the street on their front porch, I waved, but I don’t think he saw me. About 10 minutes later, his wife Jayme text saying Troy said he needed one more gallon of stain and that he way underbid the job. She said Troy has put in three solid days and needs one more to finish the job. Jayme stated the stain is not normal stain or paint that Troy has experienced. She stated Troy understands if I wanted to hire someone else. In order for him to finish they need $400 more. I said ok. When will Troy come back? Jayme said Fridays were best. I said I’d pay more money over the weekend. 4. Jayme text on April 17 and said Happy Easter. She also stated Troy would try to make it out before Friday, but if not, definitely Friday. I told her I would finish the job myself. I did not send any more money. 5. I read some reviews of the rose beige behrsemi-translucent stain before I started to finish it. The customer reviews state a little goes a long way… and boy does it. Troy was using way too much product which is why the parts he did look more like a full cover stain. I paid $8K for this new deck and he used too much stain so it looks like a full coverage stain. I never would have known better had I not done 5 minutes of research on the product and stained the railing by myself. What I have done looks like a rose beige semi translucent stain. So I paid $8K for a new deck and these folks $1.7K to those folks to have an unfinished job that he clearly did not know what he was doing with the product. Not to mention, I had to $70 more to get the product to finish myself. 6. I have all the messages showing this is what happened.

I only wish I was aware of the circumstance involving your company and my mother, Shukriyyah Muhammad prior to her passing, which apparently was only months prior to, in order to address it on her behalf and exercise my skills/knowledge to seek justice in her interest. I only hope that in my late discovery, that you as a business owner become more compassionate, diligent and respectful towards consumers who seek your service for their needs. You never know what an individual is enduring and their purpose for procuring your service, and despite knowing, do your best to exceed excellence. In her memory I speak into existence, your development as a business man ...more so, as a person, to be kind and considerate to your customers and provide excellent service. Knowing my mother, she would not have taken the time to write a review if she did not strongly feel taken advantage of ...I am sorry she experienced this, and wish I was more involved in business matters and aware...be mindful of your customer.

Poor communication with merchants and myself. I ask for an adjustment on payment due to them not painting due to continuous rains he refused stated he could stop where he was if I didn't paint . He had torn up my ramp I am disabled and he was so selfish that he would not repair the ramp leaving me with no way to get I or out the house . He knew I am ill ,I have a illness diagnosed as Stiff Persons Syndrome this encounter with Mr. Jones has caused me to become very ill. He was paid 1/3 of his charge ; it was a rainy week but he had done nothing to the ramp but tear it more than he needed to wash the rear deck and wash 1/4 of the rear house. He also had problems with Lowe and Home Depot which was the reason he didn't have supplies to get my project started. He took my money and he could not compromise with adjust pay rate and he walked away leaving me helpless. I don't have money to give away ,I had to call another contractor from porch to correct his mess. Mr.Jones should return some of my money. He is unprofessional and unkind to not work with me to leave me a prisoner in my home nothing he started was completed his charge was to high for the work. Companies like his should be stopped. I have been dealing with handymen and contractors for twenty years never anyone like him.
